4. Start with the End in Mind
For everything (product, activity, task, etc) think first what should be the End result. Then think how to get there in the most efficient way.
5. Focus on the user and all else will follow.
User experience is key. We have to create products that people love to use.
6. It's better to do few things well than a lot of things bad.
We do not have the resources to implement a lot of features for one single product. We have to use the 80-20 principle (80% of results are created with 20% effort) therefore implementing only the most important features first.
7. It's better to deliver less on time than a better one later.
We have to always be on time, even it is a partial version.
8. Being just good is not good enough.
We have to push ourselves toward greatness, and even further. In our days it's not so hard to produce a valuable piece of software and be known for it. (see basecamp, fogz software, microsoft etc they all started as outsourcing companies)
